The Peter Bowe and Barbara Stewart Foundation

The Peter Bowe and Barbara Stewart Foundation funds organizations that share their goals of strengthening civic education and closing the opportunity gap. The Foundation’s primary focus is increasing understanding and appreciation of our American civic heritage. The Foundation’s secondary focus is closing the opportunity gap by supporting organizations that emphasize education, training and work experience.

The American Battlefield Trust is proud to partner with the Peter Bowe and Barbara Stewart Foundation. Together, we have engaged with students via our Great Task Youth Leadership Program and our Baltimore and Boston Virtual Field Trips. We have also created classroom ready articles and videos which explore civics and history related topics.
