Meeting place
Volunteers will meet at the gazebo located near the historic house museum and park in the museum parking lot. The museum parking lot is located in the rear of the campus and accessed via Rosedale Ave. Volunteers should use the address 1690 Rosedale Ave. for GPS directions to the parking lot. Volunteers may show up any time between 9AM and 3PM. No matter what time volunteers have available, any help will be appreciated!
Planned Activities
Activities will include mulching, removal of invasive plants, washing the historic house, planting flowers, preparing the garden beds, and general spring-cleaning. A project to paint the eastside access ramp may happen depending on weather conditions.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Some tools will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring rakes, pitchforks, tarps, and similar yard tools.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will continue as planned.
