Park in the gravel lot when you arrive and proceed over the Causeway inside the Fort. Check in will be adjacent to the Gift Shop, on your left as you enter the Fort. Gates open and registration begins at 10:30AM.
Planned Activities
Join us for a good, old-fashioned spring clean up! Enjoy a day out with like-minded supporters of National Historic Landmark Fort Mifflin and help us with a number of landscape, nature trail and other tasks as we prepare for a busy season ahead. We will also be working on set up for an evening event, moving tables and benches and hauling supplies.
We respect your time and energy so please register by Thursday, April 4 so that we are properly prepared and organized. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

History or Educational Activities
We will begin the day with an overview of the site's three centuries of service to the United States and a cannon demonstration, and award a lucky hard worker with the chance to fire the afternoon's closing shot. HUZZAH!
All participants present at the end of the afternoon become members of our Volunteer Corps and will receive a complimentary individual membership to visit us as our guest during regular daytime hours for a year!

Should I bring any tools or supplies?
**Wear appropriate work clothes** No open shoes ** BYO refillable water bottle and snacks. Help us keep trash out of the High Battery.
Work gloves are helpful as are extra rakes and lopers (marked with your name!)
Are you comfortable with power equipment such as a chain saw, string trimmer or similar? If you have any of these tools and are willing to help us extend our capabilities for this event, please bring them along.

In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will continue as planned.
