Spalding Hall is a large, five-story, Federal-style brick building erected in 1826 as part of the former St. Joseph's College. It was used as a hospital during the Civil War. Now a museum, Spalding Hall includes a room featuring Civil War artifacts and memorabilia. The museum guide can provide information on Bardstown's role in the Civil War.
