Hog Mountain Battlefield

The 40-acre Crooked Creek Civil War Museum and Park interprets a series of skirmishes in 1863 near Crooked Creek (April 30), Hog Mountain (April 30), Blountsville (May 1), Black Creek or Gadsden (May 2), and Blount’s Plantation (May 2) during a Union raid into northern Alabama.  The small museum has interpretive displays and a dirt driving trail with historic markers.
