Ox Hill Battlefield Park

Although most of the Chantilly (or Ox Hill as the Confederates named it) battlefield has been lost to development, an small urban park preserves a piece of the battlefield, near where Union General Phillip Kearny was killed.  Ox Hill Battlefield Park today is a calming refuge in the midst of a heavily commercial area. Signs, monuments and interpretive kiosks at the park present information about the battle and its significance and offer insights into some of the men who fought here.
