Please note: The Virginia Museum of the Civil War (VMCW) is located off Exit 264 at New Market. Proceed up Rt 305 (George R. Collins Parkway) to the end of the road. You will pass a Days Inn and a privately owned museum. Follow the brown and blue signs on the right side of the road. The VMCW building looks like a drum with rifles stacked against it. We will provide snacks and tools. At the conclusion of the program at 3:00, staff interpreters will provide two interpretive programs: a guided tour of the battlefield for adults and an interactive program for families and children.
