Join this site as a volunteer on Park Day 2018, the Civil War Trust’s annual hands-on event to help battlefields and historic sites take on maintenance projects large and small. Details:

Meeting place: Visitor Center at the main campus of the park, 398 State Park Road, Clinton, SC

Meeting time: 1:00 PM

Planned Activities: Clearing Brush, Trail MainenanceOther

Other Activities: Invasive species removal (wisteria)

Planned Low-Impact Activities: Invasive species removal is in a safe area and consists of pulling vines along the ground and bagging the vines.

Bring Tools & Supplies: Reusable water bottle, dress appropriate for the weather

History or Educational Programs: Battlefield Hike will be at 10 am. Please pre-register for this as well.

Food provided: Yes, water only

In the Event of Inclement Weather: Continue as planned

Please note: Please wear closed toe shoes. We will have a number of adult large gloves. You may bring a picnic lunch and use the picnic areas before or after Park Day activities.
