Join this site as a volunteer on Park Day 2018, the Civil War Trust’s annual hands-on event to help battlefields and historic sites take on maintenance projects large and small. Details:

Meeting place: At the Church P. Lot on S.R. 327 north of its crossing with S.R. 124

Meeting time: 10:00 A.M.

Planned Activities: Clearing Brush, Installing Markers / Interpretive Signs, Trash Removal

Planned Low-Impact Activities: Assisting with cleanup activities; helping with refreshments

Bring Tools & Supplies: gloves, garden tools.

History or Educational Programs: Presentation of Battle of . X-Rds., Relics displays; Re-inactors Demonstrations, refreshments, Displays of Battle Maps, etc.

Food provided: Yes, water and snacks

In the Event of Inclement Weather: 14-Apr-18

Please note: The Berlin Battlefield Engagement Site is close to being listed on the National Register. It will be a proud event for Jackson Co., OH. It will be the location of the first battle fought in Ohio during the Civil War. July 17, 1863.
