In observance of Women's History Month, there will be a temporary exhibit on display in the Shiloh Battlefield museum. The Civil War forced women into public life in ways they couldn't imagine a generation before; they became arsenal workers, nurses, spies, textile workers, and head of the households while the men went off to fight. In some cases the women went to fight as well!
Visit the exhibit on display the month of March, to learn the various roles women played during the Civil War!
