A New Way to Send Donations by Text

The Civil War Trust has partnered with mGive to create a new service that allows you to make donations straight from your cellphone. With our new Text to Donate capability you can now use your cellphone to help save America's Civil War battlefields.

Here's how you can send $10 to the Civil War Trust today.
It's all so simple:

Step #1: From your cellphone text the word
"civilwar" to 50555

Step #2: Reply "Yes" to the confirmation message that you should receive onscreen.

Step #3: Repeat the process up to three times each month.

From our new Text to Donate platform, you can also opt in to receiving short, periodic messages that will alert you to new Civil War Trust preservation campaigns and events. You don't need a fancy smartphone or the latest mobile gear to use this service. Our Text to Donate system will work from any active cellphone with texting capability.
