CONSERVATION GROUPS JOIN FORCES TO SAVE CHANCELLORSVILLE BATTLEFIELD
(Chancellorsville,
Va.) - Seven national and local conservation groups will
announce the creation of a coalition to save Chancellorsville
Battlefield at a news conference on Wednesday, July 31, 2002.
The news conference will be held at historic Old Salem Church

The
Coalition to Save Chancellorsville Battlefield is an informal

They are: the Central Virginia Battlefields Trust (CVBT);
the Civil War Preservation Trust (CWPT); Friends of Fredericksburg
Area Battlefields (FoFAB); the National Parks Conservation
