How to Enter

2009 Annual Photo Contest

1. Open a Flickr™ account

If you do not already have a Flickr™ account you can obtain a free account by going to www.flickr.com. 

2. Upload your photos

Once you have an active Flickr™ account please upload your photos to your own Flickr account.

3. Join our CWPT Flickr™ Group

In order to enter photos in our contest you will first need to join our CWPT Flickr™ group (American Civil War Battlefields) which can be found at: http://www.flickr.com/groups/cwpt/

4. Add your photo entries to our CWPT Flickr™ Group

For the photos that you would like to enter into our photo contest you will need to add those photos to our CWPT Flickr™ group (American Civil War Battlefields) which can be found at: http://www.flickr.com/groups/cwpt/

5. Tag your photo entries

To enter a photo into a specific category (see category list) you will need to add a simple tag to your photo. Photos MUST be properly tagged to qualify for the photo contest. Example of a tagged photo » 

For each category add the following tag:

Civil War Battlefields: CWPT09BF

People on Civil War Battlefields: CWPT09P

Preservation Threats: CWPT09PT

Then & Now: CWPT09TN
