The 2014 Civil War Trust Photo Contest
The Civil War Trust was honored by the thousands of beautiful entries to our 2014 Annual Photo Contest. Thank you to all of our entrants for sharing your photos, as well as your passion for Civil War history and preservation. Choosing such a small handful to highlight proved a daunting task this year.
Our Grand Prize this year goes to Mike Talplacido of Houston, Texas, whose awe-inspiring photo at the Shiloh captured the judges' attention with it's testament to the compelling beauty and thought-provoking nature of our battlefields.
Our people's choice award, selected by our fans on Facebook, went to Buddy Secor Buddy Secor of Stafford, Va., for "Jackson's Flank Attack Site (Chancellorsville, Virginia).
