Part 5 - Cavalry
The Battle for Harmony Mills
You ride back and forth among your horsemen, shouting encouragement and reforming the ranks to continue the fight.
Suddenly, you hear a tremendous BANG from across the field. You look up to see an enemy caisson, a wagon full of artillery ammunition, soar at least twenty feet into the sky before smashing back into the ground in a maelstrom of splinters and shrapnel. A well-aimed shot must have ignited the ammunition inside! Your men cheer raucously at the sight.
You can see the enemy gunners scattering for cover amid the wreckage of the caisson. They are clearly panicked at the loss of their ammunition.
You look your men over. They are worn out but still ready for action. A swift charge might capture the enemy cannons. Timing is everything. If the gunners return to their posts in the middle of the attack, they will make your men suffer.
