Vicksburg Battlefield Museum

Vicksburg Battle Museum houses the world's largest collection of civil war gunboat models, an eight-by-twenty-foot diorama of the siege of Vicksburg, thirty original oil paintings depicting the Inland Water War, and a thirty-minute documentary Vanishing Glory.

Directions

From I-20 take Clay Street west; turn right on Washington Street; travel north 2 blocks. Museum will be on the left-hand side.

Visitor Services

Handicapped access, gift shop, guided tours for groups (individuals are given a self-guided tour book for the museum).
