The National Civil War Museum

The National Civil War Museum presents a comprehensive and even-handed overview of America's greatest tragedy. Exhibits are factual, humanistic, educational, and entertaining. High-resolution video and sound-and-light shows complement the world-class collection of Civil War artifacts. Personal possessions of Lincoln, Davis, Lee, Grant, Jackson, McClellan, and Johnny Reb and Billy Yank are included in the collection.

From Route 83 exit at 50B (Progress Street). Follow Route 22 west (Walnut Street) for 2.5 miles. Turn left at the Parkside Caf', where Walnut Street continues, then left immediately again onto Reservoir Drive. Turn right onto Concert Drive and follow to museum.

Admission Fee

Adults $8.00, seniors $7.00, children eight and up $6.00, Free for children seven and under; family rate $30.00; groups of adults/ seniors $5.50; school group rate with a five to one chaperone ratio $4.50.


Monday-Saturday: 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M., Sunday: 12:00 P.M. -5:00 P.M.; Labor Day-March 31, Closed: Monday-Tuesday
