Located on the site of Tredegar Iron Works, the American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar is the nation's first museum to explore the war from Union, Confederate and African American perspectives.

Regular Events

April, Civil War & Emancipation Day; summer schedule includes public programs with costumed interpreters demonstrating how to fire a rifle musket. Others cover the causes of secession and the trials of Reconstruction
