Rene Beauregard House -- Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve

Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, 6588 Barataria Boulevard, Marrero, LA 70072, USA

Located at the Battle of New Orleans (War of 1812) site, this two-story, cement-covered house was the home of Judge Rene Beauregard, son of Confederate Gen. P.G.T. Beauregard.

Directions

From I-10 through the city of New Orleans, take I-610 east. Take Chalmette/Littlewood exit south to I-510 to State Road 47; turn right onto St. Bernard Highway. After 2 miles the Chalmette National Park sign will be visible.
