Rail Crossing-Trailhead Park

Rail Crossing-Trailhead Park is a viewing area for the crossing of the historic Memphis & Charleston and Mobile & Ohio railroads during the Civil War. The Battle of Shiloh was fought for control of this crossing. The park serves as the trailhead for the historic Corinth hiking and biking trail connecting many of the Civil War Corinth National Historic Landmark sites.

Directions

From I-40 at Jackson, Tennessee, exit onto Highway 45 south; drive to Corinth (50 miles) and exit onto Highway 72 (Memphis exit) east. Turn left on Fulton Drive at shopping center with the Kroger store. Follow the brown Civil War Center banners mounted on light posts to Waldron Street. Turn right on Waldron; continue to follow banners to the park located at the corner of Jackson and Waldron Streets in downtown Corinth.
