The Pewee Valley Confederate Cemetery and Monument are all that remain from the Kentucky Confederate Home, established in 1904. Interred here are 313 Confederate veterans - most of whom had been residents of the former institution.

Directions

Take I-265 (Gene Snyder Freeway) to exit 30. Turn right on CR 146, travel approximately 2 miles, turn left onto Maple Avenue. The cemetery and the monument are located on Maple Avenue 0.8 mile beyond the intersection.

Regular Events

First Saturday in June, Confederate Memorial Day service - includes Confederate reenactors and the firing of period artillery.
