McCook House

15 South Lisbon Street, Carrollton, OH 44615, USA

Located in Carrollton, Ohio, the McCook House is a memorial to Ohio’s famous “Fighting McCooks.” This historic house was the home of Major Daniel McCook, who, with his nine sons and six nephews, became known as the “Fighting McCooks” because of their participation in the armed services of their country prior to and especially during the Civil War.

Directions

From I-77 south take Route 39 east to Carrollton. From I-77 north take Route 43 from Canton. Located on the west side of the public square in Carrollton, Carroll County.

Annual Chirstmas Open house on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend and the week following.
