Male Academy Museum

30 Temple Avenue West, Newnan, GA 30263, USA

Newnan, a hospital town, was the site of the Battle of Brown's Hill. Part of Sherman's Atlanta campaign, the battle began at the train depot. Medical items and the battle are currently interpreted at the museum. Operated by the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society.

Directions

From I-85 take exit 47 (Highway 34/Bullsboro Drive). Head west approximately 3.5 miles to College Street, turn left, go 1 block to Temple Avenue. Male Academy Museum is on the southeast corner of the intersection.
