Georgia's Stone Mountain Park

Stone Mountain Park, 1000 Robert E Lee Boulevard, Stone Mountain, GA 30083, USA

Located sixteen miles east of Atlanta, Stone Mountain Park is a 3,200-acre world of recreation and family fun. The centerpiece of the park is Stone Mountain itself, the world's largest exposed mass of granite. The memorial carving on the face of the mountain is about the size of a football field. The carving commemorates the Confederacy, with the figures of Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and Stonewall Jackson.
