General Grant National Memorial

General Grant National Memorial, New York, NY 10027, USA

This grand memorial to Ulysses S. Grant commemorates the great Union commander and the nation's eighteenth president. The mausoleum is the final resting place of President Grant and his wife, Julia Dent Grant. Mosaics on the tomb depict Grant's victories during the Civil War.

General Grant National Memorial is in Riverside Park in Manhattan. The entrance of Grant's Tomb is near the intersection of Riverside Drive and West 122nd Street. Subway Directions: Take the #1 train to the 116th Street-Columbia University station on Broadway. Walk six blocks North to 122nd Street, and two blocks West to Riverside Drive.
