Forest Hill Cemetery

6901 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64131, USA

This cemetery is the site of the celebrated Confederate cavalryman Gen. J.O. Shelby's heroic stand that saved Price's army. A large Confederate monument in the cemetery is surrounded by graves of the Confederate dead, including Shelby's.

Directions

From I-70 take I-435 from the west or I-470 from the east to State Highway 71; proceed north on Highway 71 to 75th Street; proceed west on 75th Street to Troost Avenue; proceed north on Troost Avenue to cemetery.
