Clarence Clark Park

4300 Baltimore Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104, USA

Clark Park is the largest park in West Philadelphia, operated by the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Philadelphia. It was the site of Satterlee Hospital, which treated over 120,000 sick and wounded soldiers during the Civil War. A monument commemorating Satterlee Hospital was erected in 1916 using a large stone from the Gettysburg Battlefield.

Directions

Take the Univeristy Avenue exit from I-76, turn left (west) from University Avenue onto Woodland OR Baltimore Avenue, travel west to 43rd street. The park is between Baltimore and Woodland, 43rd and 45th streets.
