The Chattanooga Regional History Museum has an extensive Civil War collection containing more than five hundred pieces. Some artifacts on display include: Grant's headquarters chair, dozens of muskets, rifles, swords, knives, and pistols, projectiles and minie balls, various accoutrements, uniforms, original photographs take by R.M. Linn, George N. Bernard, and others, diaries and letters, and veterans' and national park memorabilia.

Directions

Currently located at 615 Lindsay Street, the History Center is undergoing construction, and will reopen at 2 West Aquarium Way (Suite 200) during the fall of 2013.
