Bureau County Historical Society Museum

The Ninety-third Illinois Infantry was mustered from Bureau County for service in the Union army. The Bureau County Historical Museum contains an outstanding and extensive collection of artifacts and documents associated with the regiment. The collection is well researched and documented.

From I-80 take Princeton exit; proceed into Princeton (this road becomes Main Street). Continue on Main through two business districts to the four-way stop, just before the courthouse. Turn right onto Park Avenue, which curves around. The museum is located at the end of the curve, across from the courthouse.
