Battle of Sacramento Driving Tour

The Battle of Sacramento took place early in the Civil War, in December 1861. The ten-stop driving tour recreates its daring action and introduces the combats participants. C.S.A Lt. Col. Nathan Bedford Forrest emerged the victor. A free driving-tour brochure is available at the Sacramento City Hall, located at 218 West Third Street in Sacramento.

From Western Kentucky Parkway I-66 take exit 58; travel north on U.S. 431 5 miles to unincoporated community of South Carrollton; turn left on Kentucky 81 and proceed to Sacramento. City Hall is located at 218 West Third Street.
