Alexander H. Stephens State Historic Park

456 Alexander Street, Crawfordville, GA 30631, USA

This historic park consists of the 1875 house and outbuildings belonging to Alexander Stephens, vice president of the Confederacy. Located beside Stephen's home is a Confederate museum that houses one of Georgia's finest collections of Civil War artifacts.

From I-20 take exit 148 onto route 22, heading north. Follow signs to the park (approximately 2 miles).

Visitor Services

Public rest rooms, information, gift shop, museum; trails, picnic shelters, camping, and equestrian facilities. Parking $5.00.

December, Victorian Christmas.

Available Interpretation

The Museum and Liberty Hall are open Friday to Sunday. Group tours during the week may be arranged with advance reservations.
