Despite growing development pressures in the region, the Cross Keys battlefield retains much of its rural charm. Along the Shenandoah Valley farm roads you will find a number of historical markers that will help you to better understand the key actions of this 1862 battle. At this time, there is no formal park that protects or encompasses this battlefield.
