Saving Cleburne's Battlefields

  • The Civil War Trust has been an active force over the years in working to save the battlefields of Patrick Cleburne.
  • To date the Trust has saved 2,026 acres of hallowed ground where
"the Stonewall of the West" earned his name, much of it at sites included in our annual report, History Under Siege—including
two of 2010's Most Endangered battlefields.
  • In our continued efforts to save this hallowed ground, Civil War Trust is actively working to save land at sites rich with Cleburne history: Perryville
    and Franklin
