Teacher Institute

How do I know if I was accepted?
The Teacher Institute is open to all K-12 teachers, there is no application, only registration.  As soon as you register you are all set and on our list of attendees!

Will you offer scholarships?
Yes, scholarships will be offered. Scholarships cover the cost of travel and lodging up to $600.

What is the $100 deposit for?
This deposit ensures attendance. If you do not attend the institute or cancel after July 8, 2016 we will not refund your deposit. If you attend you can either have it refunded or you can donate it to the organization. 

Who is eligible to attend?
Any educator that works with students in grades kindergarten through 12, not just history teachers.

Do you offer continuing education credits?
Yes, be sure to mark that you would like to receive them on your registration.  Continuing education credits will be mailed to your home following the Teacher Institute.

When will I know what tours I am in?

We will provide you with your tour information in an e-mail about a week before the institute. Once you receive the e-mail you will be able to reply with any requests for changes.

What if I have to cancel?
To cancel: contact - title your e-mail with your name and the word, "cancellation."
