What is the Regional Teacher Institute?

  • A $100 deposit it required to register for the Teacher Institute. This is refundable given your attendance.

The Regional Teacher Institute: Antietam is a professional development for K-12 educators focused exclusively on the American Civil War and its relationship to this important battle site.  The professional development is free, thanks to our generous donors, but space is limited to 25 attendees.  The available 25 spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will go live on October 1, 2012.

Putting it all Together – Using historic documents, historic photographs, and your photographs. Create a presentation, activity, lesson plan, and/or video to be used in your classroom.

*It is recommended that you bring a laptop or device to build your presentations. It is also recommended that you load your picture from the 12th beforehand.

Cancellations

Refunds will be given for cancellations until November 30th, 2012.

Beginning December 1st, 2012, refunds will not be issued for cancellations.
