Meeting placeApproximately 12 miles east of Brownsville on Hwy 4 (Boca Chica Highway) just east of the intersection of Hwy 4 and Palmito Hill Road. Meet near the historical markers.

Planned ActivitiesTrash Removal,History Programs
Planned Low-Impact ActivitiesThe trash pick-up will be limited to the historical marker area of the battlefield. Paved walkways lead to interpretive areas.
Other ActivitiesIn addition, the battlefield landowner (US Fish and Wildlife Services) will provide attendees with demonstrations of birding and wildlife management at the battlefield.
Bring tools?Volunteers should bring hats, work gloves, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
