Event Announcement: The Unveiling of Lee’s Headquarters at Gettysburg

October 28, 2016 @ 11:30 a.m.

Lee's Headquarters

A historic moment is coming. On October 28th, we will cut the ribbon on Gen. Robert E. Lee's headquarters site at Gettysburg battlefield. We will unveil the restored Mary Thompson House, present historically appropriate landscaping, and open a new interpretive trail. This project involved some of the Trust's most ambitious work to date, and the support of our members was essential to acquiring this site and returning it to its wartime appearance.

Please join the Trust and our partners in Gettysburg to celebrate this landmark preservation achievement and tour some of the most significant land in the country.

Friday, October 28 @ 11:30 a.m.
401 Buford Avenue

Please send RSVPs and questions to rsvp@civilwar.org. Refreshments will be available throughout the event.
