Q: Do I need to stay at The Marriott to participate in the Grand Review?

A: No. You can stay anywhere!

Q: Will I receive a confirmation of the tours and meals that I signed up for?

A: Yes! We’ll be mailing a welcome letter in early September. The only need to contact us upon receiving your letter would be to request a tour change or let us know if there are any changes in your plans.

Q: What if I would like to change my tours?

A: You can change your tours by contacting Bonnie Repasi at If we have space on a tour, we will do our very best to accommodate your request to change tours.

Q: Why is my personal itinerary so important?

A: Your personal itinerary will provide you with important details about your weekend. You will have information about when your tour lines up for departure. We will not hold a bus for you if you are tardy, so please be sure to be on time.

Q: Will there be Civil War Trust merchandise for sale at the Grand Review?

A: Sorry, we are not going to have merchandise available for you to purchase during the Grand Review.

Q: Is there any recommended reading to prepare for the areas we’ll be exploring during the Grand Review?

A: Yes! A list of recommended reading can be found on this page.

Q: What is the attire during for the activities scheduled during the Grand Review?

A: Friday night lecture: Business casual attire is suggested. For tours on Saturday and Sunday please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain. Casual clothing, comfortable clothing and closed toed walking shoes are recommended. We recommend cocktail/business attire for the dinner on Saturday night.
