FAQ for during the Color Bearer Weekend

1. What is a personal itinerary and why is it so important?

You will receive a personal itinerary on-site when you register. It will provide you with information about what tours and events you signed up for and when your specific tour lines up for departure. All tours depart at different times, so please be sure to remember when the tour you signed up for departs. We will not hold a bus for you if you are tardy, so please be sure to be on time.

2. Will there be Civil War Trust merchandise for sale during the weekend?

A: No, sorry. we will not have merchandise available for sale during the weekend. However, if you are interested in Civil War Trust merchandise is always for sale online at www.civilwar.org, and go to our Store drop down menu.

3. What is the attire during for the activities scheduled during the Color Bearer Weekend?

For the Friday evening reception on the USS Constellation, please dress for the weather, but the evening will be business casual attire. For the tours on Saturday and Sunday, please dress casually with closed toed walking shoes. Also, please remember to check the weather and be prepared for any type of weather.

4. Is there a planned dinner for Saturday night?

No, you are on your own for dinner on Saturday evening. There are many restaurant options within close walking distance to the hotel. We are located directly across from the Inner Harbor.
